Director of COLOR GUARD

Chris Josey is a new resident of the Dallas area. For the previous seven years Mr. Josey made his home in Austin where he served as the Colorguard Director and marching band program coordinator for Westwood High School in Round Rock ISD. Prior to moving to Austin he served as music and visual coordinator and director of the Colorguard/Winterguard programs for the eight time state class champion Santa Fe High School in Alachua, FL., Colorguard Director for the two time state champion Buchholz High School in Gainesville, FL., and director of River City Independent Winter Guard.  Mr. Josey has served as a music and visual clinician for several marching and symphonic programs throughout Florida and Georgia.  He has worked for the Music ‘n Motion summer auxiliary camp as drum major clinician and the All-Star Music Festival as an event staff coordinator. Chris was a member of the 2002 DCI open class champion and world class finalist, Magic of Orlando. He also was a member of WGI world class finalist, Northeast Independent winter guard in 2006 & 2007.
