THE SYMPHONIC BAND

The Symphonic Band (second band) is open to all Hebron High School Band students.  Membership is determined by audition.  Students will prepare and perform music for concerts and competitions.  The Symphonic Band meets 4th Period.  Private lessons are strongly recommended.  Membership carries the following responsibilities: 

1.     Attendance at all rehearsals, sectionals, clinics, and performances.

2.     Preparation of All-State/All-Region music during Fall Semester.

3.     Audition for All-State/All-Region Band or Orchestra.

4.     Participation in LISD Solo and Ensemble Contest in a solo capacity.

5.     Performance of prepared music designed to strength the proficiency of the student.

6.     Performance of contest music assigned by the directors.

7.     Maintain academic eligibility.

8.     Abide by all Hebron Band Handbook policies.
