BROCK ALSAFFAR
ASSISTANT DIRECTOR
Brock Alsaffar is in his first year serving as the Assistant Director of Bands at Hebron High School in Carrollton, Texas. His duties include conducting the Hebron Concert Band, assisting with the Wind Symphony and Symphonic Band, team teaching the marching band, teaching high brass classes, and assisting with the cluster middle schools.
As a performer, Mr. Alsaffar marched with the Blue Devils Drum and Bugle Corps in 2019, where they were named World Champions. During his time at Texas Tech University, Mr. Alsaffar was a member and section leader of the Goin’ Band from Raiderland. From 2016 to 2019, competed in and advanced to the semi-final round in the National Trumpet Competition in the solo, large ensemble, and small ensemble divisions. Mr. Alsaffar is a Lewisville ISD alum and graduated from Marcus High School, where he served as drum major and earned two UIL State Marching Band Championships.
Mr. Alsaffar holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree from Texas Tech University, where he graduated with honors. Mr. Alsaffar maintains professional affiliations with the Texas Music Educators Association and the International Trumpet Guild. Mr. Alsaffar currently lives in Highland Village, Texas with his German Shepherd, Jazzy.
